πᾶσα ἡ γῆ.

Ψάλατε δή τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ
δότε δόξαν ἐν αἰνέσει αὐτοῦ. Εἴπατε τῷ Θεῷ· Ὡς φοβερά τά ἔργα σου.
3 Πᾶσα ἡ γῆ προσκυνησάτωσάν Σοι καί ψαλάτωσάν Σοι.

1 Ὁ Θεός οἰκτειρήσαι ἡμᾶς καί εὐλογήσαι ἡμᾶς. Ἐπιφά-ναι τό πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ἐφ' ἡμᾶς καί ἐλεήσαι ἡμᾶς.
2 Τοῦ γνῶναι ἐν τῇ γῇ τήν ὁδόν Σου ἐν πᾶσιν ἔθνεσι τό σωτήριόν Σου.
3 Ἐξομολογησάσθωσάν Σοι λαοί, ὁ Θεός, ἐξομολογησάσθωσάν Σοι
λαοί πάντες.
Σῶσον ἡμᾶς, Υἱὲ Θεοῦ, ὁ ἀναστὰς

1 Ἀναστήτω ὁ Θεός, καί διασκορπισθήτωσαν οἱ ἐχθροί
αὐτοῦ, καί φυγέτωσαν ἀπό προσώπου αὐτοῦ οἱ μισοῦντες αὐτόν.
2 Ὡς ἐκλείπει καπνός, ἐκλιπέτωσαν, ὡς τήκεται κηρός ἀπό
προσώπου πυρός. Οὕτως ἀπολοῦνται οἱ
ἁμαρτωλοί ἀπό προσώπου τοῦ Θεοῦ καί οἱ δίκαιοι εὐφρανθήτωσαν.
3 Αὕτη ἡ ἡμέρα, ἥν ἐποίησεν ὁ Κύριος, ἀγαλλιασώμεθα, καί
εὐφρανθῶμεν ἐν αὐτῇ. Ἦχος πλ. α´

Ὅτε κατῆλθες πρὸς τὸν θάνατον, ἡ Ζωὴ ἡ ἀθάνατος, τότε τὸν Ἅδην ἐνέκρωσας
τὴ ἀστραπὴ τῆς θεότητος, ὅτε δὲ καὶ τοὺς τεθνεώτας ἐκ τῶν καταχθονίων
ἀνέστησας, πᾶσαι αἱ Δυνάμεις τῶν ἐπουρανίων ἐκραύγαζον, Ζωοδότα Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς

Ὁ εὐσχήμων Ἰωσήφ, ἀπὸ τοῦ ξύλου καθελῶν, τὸ ἄχραν-τόν
σου Σῶμα, σινδόνι καθαρὰ εἰλήσας καὶ ἀρώμασιν, ἐν μνήματι καινῶ κηδεύσας
ἀπέθετο, ἀλλὰ τριήμερος ἀνέστης Κύριε, παρέχων τῶ κόσμω τὸ μέγα ἔλεος.

Ταῖς μυροφόροις Γυναιξί, παρὰ τὸ μνῆμα ἐπιστάς, ὁ
Ἄγγελος ἐβόα, Τὰ μύρα τοὶς θνητοῖς ὑπάρχει ἁρμόδια, Χριστὸς δὲ διαφθορᾶς
ἐδείχθη ἀλλότριος, ἀλλὰ κραυγάσατε, Ἀνέστη ὁ Κύριος, παρέχων τῶ κόσμω τὸ μέγα

Εὐλογητὸς εἶ, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν, ὁ πανσόφους τοὺς
ἁλιεῖς ἀναδείξας, καταπέμψας αὐτοῖς τὸ Πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον, καὶ δι' αὐτῶν τὴν
οἰκουμένην σαγηνεύσας, φιλάνθρωπε, δόξα σοί.

Κανόνα πίστεως καὶ εἰκόνα πραότητος, ἐγκρατείας

When he took down Your immaculate Body from the

The Angel standing at the sepulcher cried out and
said to the ointment bearing women: The ointments are appropriate for mortal

Though

ointment-bearing women with “Rejoice!” and bestowed peace upon your disciples,

The
Church commemorates seven myrrh bearing
women on the third Sunday of Pascha: Mary Magdalene, Mary, another Mary,
Martha, Salome, Joanna, and Susanna. Mary Magdalene had been possessed by
seven demons. Mary was the wife of Cleopas, who was a brother of St. Joseph the
betrothed, and who met Jesus on the way to Emmaus.

The
other Mary and Martha were the sisters of Lazarus. Salome was the daughter of
St. Joseph
the betrothed, the wife of Zebedee, and the mother of apostles James and John.
Joanna was the wife of Chuza, a nobleman [Jn 4:46-54] and steward of Herod the Tetrarch.
Susanna was one of the women cured of evil spirits and diseases [Lk 8:2].
