1 Ἀλαλάξατε τ Κυρί πσα γ.
2 Ψάλατε δή τ νόματι ατο δότε δόξαν ν ανέσει ατο.  Επατε τ Θε· ς φοβερά τά ργα σου.
3 Πσα γ προσκυνησάτωσάν Σοι καί ψαλάτωσάν Σοι.  
    Ταῖς πρεσβείαις τῆς Θεοτόκου, Σῶτερ, σῶσον ἡμᾶς.

1 Θεός οκτειρήσαι μς καί ελογήσαι μς. πιφά-ναι τό πρόσωπον ατο φ' μς καί λεήσαι μς.
2 Το γνναι ν τ γ τήν δόν Σου ν πσιν θνεσι τό σωτήριόν Σου.
3 ξομολογησάσθωσάν Σοι λαοί, Θεός, ξομολογησάσθωσάν Σοι λαοί πάντες.
    Σῶσον ἡμᾶς, Υἱὲ Θεοῦ, ἀναστὰς ἐκ νεκρῶν, ψάλλοντάς σοι· Ἀλληλούϊα.

1 Ἀναστήτω ὁ Θεός, καί διασκορπισθήτωσαν οἱ ἐχθροί αὐτοῦ, καί φυγέτωσαν ἀπό προσώπου αὐτοῦ οἱ μισοῦντες αὐτόν.
2 Ὡς ἐκλείπει καπνός, ἐκλιπέτωσαν, ὡς τήκεται κηρός ἀπό προσώπου πυρός.  Οὕτως ἀπολοῦνται οἱ ἁμαρτωλοί ἀπό προσώπου τοῦ Θεοῦ καί οἱ δίκαιοι εὐφρανθήτωσαν.

Ὅτε κατῆλθες πρὸς τὸν θάνατον, ἡ Ζωὴ ἡ ἀθάνατος, τότε τὸν Ἅδην ἐνέκρωσας τὴ ἀστραπὴ τῆς θεότητος, ὅτε δὲ καὶ τοὺς τεθνεώτας ἐκ τῶν καταχθονίων ἀνέστησας, πᾶσαι αἱ Δυνάμεις τῶν ἐπουρανίων ἐκραύγαζον, Ζωοδότα Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν δόξα σοί.

Ταὶς μυροφόροις Γυναιξί, παρὰ τὸ μνῆμα ἐπιστάς, ὁ Ἄγγελος ἐβόα, Τὰ μύρα τοὶς θνητοὶς ὑπάρχει ἁρμόδια, Χριστὸς δὲ διαφθορὰς ἐδείχθη ἀλλότριος, ἀλλὰ κραυγάσατε, Ἀνέστη ὁ Κύριος, παρέχων τῶ κόσμω τὸ μέγα ἔλεος.

Κανόνα πίστεως καὶ εἰκόνα πραότητος, ἐγκρατείας Διδάσκαλον, ἀνέδειξέ σε τῇ ποίμνῃ σου, ἡ τῶν πραγμάτων ἀλήθεια· διὰ τοῦτο ἐκτήσω τῇ ταπεινώσει τὰ ὑψηλά, τῇ πτωχείᾳ τὰ πλούσια, Πάτερ Ἱεράρχα Νικόλαε· πρέσβευε Χριστῷ τῷ Θεῷ, σωθῆναι τὰς ψυχὰς ἡμῶν.

When You descended to the realm of death You as life immortal, rendered to Hades a mortal blow by Your all radiant divinity.  And when You from infernal depths and the darkness below did raise the dead, all the hosts of heavens’ powers did proclaim and cry out: O life giving Christ and our God we give glory.                          (DLH, p.81)
APOLYTIKION of Joseph of Arimathea Tone 2
When he took down Your immaculate Body from the Cross, the honorable Joseph wrapped it in a clean linen shroud with spices and laid it for burial in a new tomb. But on the third day You arose, O Lord, and granted the world Your great mercy.                                                                                  (FSD)
APOLYTIKION of the Holy Myrrhbearers Tone 2
The Angel standing at the sepulcher cried out and said to the ointment bearing women: The ointments are appropriate for mortal men, but Christ has been shown to be a stranger to decay. So go and cry aloud, The Lord has risen and granted the world His great mercy.                      (FSD)
APOLYTIKION of our Church (Holy Trinity) Tone 8
O Blessed are you, O Christ our God, who by sending down the Holy Spirit upon them, made the fishermen wise and through them illumined the world.  And unto you, the universe was ever drawn, all glory to you, O God.  (DLH, p. 115)
APOLYTIKION of our Church (St. Nicholas) Tone 4 (DLH, p. 110)
As a yardstick of faith and an icon of gentleness; as a teacher of temperance, your actual deeds have declared you as being among your flock.  In this manner you gained by humility, things most sublime, and through poverty earned true wealth.  Father and our hierarch St. Nicholas intercede with Christ our God that our souls may be saved.
KONTAKION of Pascha  – Tone 8
Though you did descend to the tomb, O Immortal One, yet you overthrew the power of Hades. O Christ God, and you rose victorious from the dead! You greeted the ointment-bearing women with “Rejoice!” and bestowed peace upon your disciples, and resurrection to those who had fallen.

Drawing from the Prophet Isaiah’s saying “Shine, shine, O Jerusalem, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you” (Is 60:1), the delightful poet [St. John Damascene (676-749)] composed this heirmos, changing it only slightly, and says: “O New Jerusalem, Christ’s universal Church, shine, shine.” He repeats this verb not
only for the assurance of the enlightenment but also for the exceeding joy.  Similarly, Gregory the Great [Nazianzen (330-390)] has said: “This is the inaugural inauguration feast, brethren. Repeat it many times with pleasure.” The glory of the Lord is, according to Theodore (12th c.), the Cross of Christ (cf. Jn 13:31).       ST NICODEMUS HAGIORITE (1809)
