1 Ἀλαλάξατε τ Κυρί πσα γ.
2 Ψάλατε δή τ νόματι ατο δότε δόξαν ν ανέσει ατο.  Επατε τ Θε· ς φοβερά τά ργα σου.
3 Πσα γ προσκυνησάτωσάν Σοι καί ψαλάτωσάν Σοι.  
    Ταῖς πρεσβείαις τῆς Θεοτόκου, Σῶτερ, σῶσον ἡμᾶς.
Ἀντίφωνον β´ – Ἦχος ὁ αὐτός
1 Θεός οκτειρήσαι μς καί ελογήσαι μς. πιφάναι τό πρόσωπον ατο φ' μς καί λεήσαι μς.
2 Το γνναι ν τ γ τήν δόν Σου ν πσιν θνεσι τό σωτήριόν Σου.
3 ξομολογησάσθωσάν Σοι λαοί, Θεός, ξομολογησάσθωσάν Σοι λαοί πάντες.
    Σῶσον ἡμᾶς, Υἱὲ Θεοῦ, ὁ ἀναστὰς ἐκ νεκρῶν, ψάλλοντάς σοι· Ἀλληλούϊα.

1 Ἀναστήτω ὁ Θεός, καί διασκορπισθήτωσαν οἱ ἐχθροί αὐτοῦ, καί φυγέτωσαν ἀπό προσώπου αὐτοῦ οἱ μισοῦντες αὐτόν.
2 Ὡς ἐκλείπει καπνός, ἐκλιπέτωσαν, ὡς τήκεται κηρός ἀπό προσώπου πυρός.  Οὕτως ἀπολοῦνται οἱ ἁμαρτωλοί ἀπό προσώπου τοῦ Θεοῦ καί οἱ δίκαιοι εὐφρανθήτωσαν. 
3 Αὕτη ἡ ἡμέρα, ἥν ἐποίησεν ὁ Κύριος, ἀγαλλιασώμεθα, καί εὐφρανθῶμεν ἐν αὐτῇ.

Ἐν Ἐκκλησίαις εὐλογεῖτε τόν Θεόν, Κύριον ἐκ πηγῶν Ἰσραήλ. Σῶσον ἡμᾶς, Υἱέ Θεοῦ, ὁ ἀναστάς ἐκ νεκρῶν, ψάλλοντάς σοι, Ἀλληλούϊα.
 
Ἀπολυτίκιον –  Ἦχος γ'
Εὐφραινέσθω τὰ οὐράνια, ἀγαλλιάσθω τὰ ἐπίγεια, ὅτι ἐποίησε κράτος ἐν βραχίονι αὐτοῦ ὁ Κύριος, ἐπάτησε τῷ θανάτ τὸν θάνατον, πρωτότοκος τῶν νεκρῶν ἐγένετο, ἐκ κοιλίας δου ἐρρύσατο ἡμᾶς, καὶ παρέσχε κόσμ τὸ μέγα ἔλεος.
Ἀπολυτίκιον – Ἦχος πλ. δ'
Εὐλογητὸς εἶ, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν, ὁ πανσόφους τοὺς ἁλιεῖς ἀναδείξας, καταπέμψας αὐτοῖς τὸ Πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον, καὶ δι' αὐτῶν τὴν οἰκουμένην σαγηνεύσας, φιλάνθρωπε, δόξα σοι.
 
Ἀπολυτίκιον – Ἦχος δ'
Κανόνα πίστεως καὶ εἰκόνα πραότητος, ἐγκρατείας διδάσκαλον, ἀνέδειξέ σε τῇ ποίμνῃ σου, ἡ τῶν πραγμάτων ἀλήθεια· διὰ τοῦτο ἐκτήσω τῇ ταπεινώσει τὰ ὑψηλά, τῇ πτωχείᾳ τὰ πλούσια, Πάτερ Ἱεράρχα Νικόλαε· πρέσβευε Χριστῷ τῷ Θεῷ, σωθῆναι τὰς ψυχὰς ἡμῶν.

Ε καί ν τάφ κατλθες, θάνατε, λλά το δου καθελες τήν δύναμιν· καί νέστης ς νικητής, Χριστέ, Θεός, γυναιξί Μυροφόροις φθεγξάμενος, Χαίρετε· καί τος σος ποστόλοις ερήνην δωρούμενος, τος πεσοσι παρέχων νάστασιν.

The Icon of the Resurrection highlights, with truly exceptional emphasis, not an individual historical event (the bodily Resurrection of the Savior), nor an historical moment (the Savior’s egress from the Tomb), but, rather, the dogma of the abolition of Hades and death, as well as the Resurrection of humanity: “The Resurrection of Christ is simultaneously also the Resurrection of humanity, a majestic universal event”; [I. BRANOS] “Christ does not come
of the tomb but out from among the dead, ek nekron, coming up out of devastated Hades as from a nuptial palace” [P. EVDOKIMOV]. Christ was not raised alone, but together with humanity. “Hades is not simply a particular place, but the dominion of death and the Devil.
