Ἀντίφωνον α´ –  Ἦχος β´ 1 Οἱ οὐρανοί διηγοῦνται δόξαν Θεοῦ, ποίησιν δέ χειρῶν αὐτοῦ ἀναγγέλλει τό στερέωμα. 2. ῾Ημέρα τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐρεύγεται ῥῆμα, καί νύξ νυκτί ἀναγγέλλει γνῶσιν. 3 Οὐκ εἰσί λαλιαί, οὐδέ λόγοι, ὧν οὐχί ἀκούονται αἱ φωναί αὐτῶν. 4 Εἰς πᾶσαν τήν γῆν ἐξῆλθεν ὁ φθόγγος αὐτῶν, καί εἰς τά πέρατα τῆς οἰκουμένης τά ῥήματα αὐτῶν. Ταῖς πρεσβείαις τῆς Θεοτόκου, Σῶτερ, σῶσον ἡμᾶς. Ἀντίφωνον β´ – Ἦχος ὁ αὐτός 1 ᾽Επακούσαι σου Κύριος ἐν ἡμέρᾳ θλίψεως, ὑπερασπίσαι σου τό ὄνομα τοῦ Θεοῦ ᾽Ιακώβ. 2 ᾽Εξαποστείλαι σοι βοήθειαν ἐξ ἁγίου, καί ἐκ Σιών ἀντιλάβοιτό σου. 3 Μνησθείη πάσης θυσίας σου, καί τό ὁλοκαύτωμά σου πιανάτω. Σῶσον ἡμᾶς, Παράκλητε ἀγαθέ, ψάλλοντάς σοι· Ἀλληλούϊα. Δόξα... Καὶ νῦν... Ὁ Μονογενὴς Υἱός... Ἀντίφωνον γ´ –  Ἦχος πλ. δ´ 1 Κύριε, ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου εὐφρανθήσεται ὁ Βασιλεύς, καί ἐπί τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου ἀγαλλιάσεται σφόδρα. 2 Τήν ἐπιθυμίαν τῆς καρδίας αὐτοῦ ἔδωκας αὐτῷ, καί τήν θέλησιν τῶν χειλέων αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐστέρησας αὐτόν. 3 ῞Οτι προέφθασας αὐτόν ἐν εὐλογίαις χρηστότητος, ἔθηκας ἐπί τήν κεφαλήν αὐτοῦ στέφανον ἐκ λίθου τιμίου. 4 Ζωήν ᾐτήσατό σε, καί ἔδωκας αὐτῷ μακρότητα ἡμερῶν εἰς αἰῶνα αἰῶνος. Ἀπολυτίκιον – Ἦχος πλ. δ' Εὐλογητὸς εἶ, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν, ὁ πανσόφους τοὺς ἁλιεῖς ἀναδείξας, καταπέμψας αὐτοῖς τὸ Πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον, καὶ δι' αὐτῶν τὴν οἰκουμένην σαγηνεύσας, φιλάνθρωπε, δόξα σοι. Κοντάκιον –  Ἦχος πλ. δ' Ὅτε καταβὰς τὰς γλῶσσας συνέχεε, διεμέριζεν ἔθνη ὁ Ὕψιστος, ὅτε τοῦ πυρὸς τὰς γλῶσσας διένειμεν, εἰς ἑνότητα πάντας ἐκάλεσε, καὶ συμφώνως δοξάζομεν τὸ πανάγιον Πνεῦμα. Ἀντὶ τοῦ Τρισαγίου: Ὅσοι εἰς Χριστὸν ἐβαπτίσθητε, Χριστὸν ἐνεδύσασθε· ᾽Αλληλούϊα. Εἰς τό ᾽Εξαιρέτως: Ἀντὶ τοῦ «῎Αξιόν ἐστιν...»,  Ἦχος βαρὺς Μὴ τῆς φθορᾶς διαπείρα κυοφορήσασα, καὶ παντεχνήμονι Λόγῳ σάρκα δανείσασα, Μῆτερ ἀπείρανδρε, Παρθένε Θεοτόκε, δοχεῖον τοῦ ἀστέκτου, χωρίον τοῦ ἀπείρου πλαστουργοῦ σου, σὲ μεγαλύνομεν. Κοινωνικόν: Ἀντὶ τοῦ «Αἰνεῖτε...». Τό Πνεῦμα σου τό ἀγαθόν ὁδηγήσει με ἐν γῇ εὐθείᾳ. KONTAKION of the Pentecost – Tone 8 In the days of old, descending He scrambled tongues, thus dividing peoples into different nations.  Now, Most High returns, distributing flaming tongues, and all humans He summons to unity.  So harmoniously we praise, God the all-holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit always existed, and exists, and always will exist. He neither had a beginning, nor will He have an end; but He was everlastingly ranged with and numbered with the Father and the Son. For it was not ever fitting that either the Son should be wanting to the Father, or the Spirit to the Son. For then Deity would be shorn of Its Glory in Its greatest respect, for It would seem to have arrived at the consummation of perfection as if by an afterthought. Therefore, He [the Holy Spirit] was ever being partaken, but not partaking; perfecting, not being perfected; sanctifying, not being sanctified; deifying, not being deified; Himself ever the same with Himself, and with Those with Whom He is ranged; invisible, eternal, incomprehensible, unchangeable, without quality, without quantity, without form, impalpable, self-moving, eternally moving, with free-will, self-powerful, All-powerful (even though all that is of the Spirit is referable to the First Cause, just as is all that is of the Only-begotten); Life and Lifegiver; Light and Lightgiver; absolute Good, and Spring of	Goodness; the Right, the Princely Spirit; the Lord, the Sender, the Separator; Builder of His own Temple; leading, working as He wills; distributing His own Gifts; the Spirit of Adoption, of Truth, of Wisdom, of Understanding, of Knowledge, of Godliness, of Counsel, of Fear (which are ascribed to Him) by Whom the Father is known and the Son is glorified; and by Whom alone He is known; one class, one service, worship, power, perfection, sanctification. All that the Father hath the Son hath also, except the being Unbegotten; and all that the Son hath the Spirit hath also, except the Generation. These two matters do not divide the Substance, but rather are divisions within the Substance. Honor the Day of the Spirit; restrain your tongue if you can a little. It is the time to speak of other tongues–reverence them or fear them, when you see that they are of fire. Today let us teach dogmatically; tomorrow we may discuss.
